    A rainy morning muse

    He makes items, all handwrought
Combinations of metal, stone, and thought
Symbols and history that certainly ought
Be worn by any well-dressed Scot.

Glad to help. My wife tells me I have a knack for seeing things in a way others don't, and I think this is one of those examples. I guess I am always looking for new and beautiful ways to use things in the world around us.

Well, I cannot take credit, as you can see. It was spoken by Carol. All I did was write it down.

Thank you all for being so appreciative of her work. You should see her handknits. Mostly shawls, sweaters, and scarves. She has been making socks for herself, her family, other people. And for me? Absolutely nothing. She says that my feet are too big and my legs too long. I am starting to get suspicious.

This is her business card, designed and illustrated by Tyger (pretty funky fingers, eh?):

Well, you are both quite talented then, quite a fitting match. You could always "forge" her some iron knitting needles, and that might guilt her into making you some lovely stockings for those too big feet and too long legs.
