ANY scotch in cask strength is worth trying. Far more concentrated and powerful flavors. Sad that most common bottled single malt scotch has to be DILUTED down to 40-44% from its original cask strength (typically anywhere from about 52-64%) for consistency in flavor in sale to the masses.
The Macallan's are fine whiskies, pretty potent at any age or strength. I like the comment that they are not your sister's scotch. LOL.
