Interrupted my salmon sandwich, he did. Hmm...That was before the 42nd plate of goodies arrived. My but those folks put on a good high tea.
My last high tea was in Scotland in 1977. The tea was supposed to end before a ceilidh, but we were having a good time and the ceilidh folks just said, "Stick around. The more the merrier." We had a smashing good time at that one, too.
Yeah, it was expensive, but it was worth it. I will probably want to do it again in the spring...

Anytime you can get good people, good talk, and decent food al together in the same place it takes little time to realise that the experience is absolutely priceless. Now that being said I don't think I would make this a weekly expence. LOL. Maybe next year we'll set one up for Buchart Gardens as they put on a very passable tea.

Looks like an enjoyable afternoon. Good friends, good food, good conversation, life is good.

And the funniest part is you're the active military man, and you've got the longest hair in the group. Quite a turnabout from MY service days.

LOL true I'm showing my flowing locks right now, but I'm also on leave and am allowed to skip the barber. Saddly though in another week I'll be back in the chair for a #1 all around. ...sniffle sniffle...
