Gentlemen, the good lad has donned his first kilt and presented us with a picture. He dressed it up a bit with a vest and tie. Is it too much to ask to just say a few positive things, this being his first kilt, rather than rag on the guy about whether his choice of attire meets your exacting standards, or not?

New Englander, I think you look just fine, and good for you for strapping on the Utilikilt and getting out with it. Carry on. If you decide to get a nice wool tartan kilt sometime in the future, try the tweedy vest with that, it might look great. Meanwhile, knock 'em dead.
