    ABSOLUTELY! Pure dead brilliant.
I'm definitely interested. Been looking and looking for good blue/white cycling clothing.

Here are a few pics of what I have found and bought:

A tartan Jersey would be right up my ally!

That's a grand reference, could even use an image of the first pedal bicycle designed by the man.

Looks like the tally now is:

    Jersey: 8
    Bibs: 4

This is a company that looks pretty good (it's where I got the photo of the orange jersey above). http://champ-sys.com/custom/cs-five

We are right around a threshold between their Minimum Qty pricing and the CS-5 plan. I'd bet we can find buyers for the 2 extra to get to the qty of 10.

See what you think about the company. If there aren't any better options out there I suggest we go with these guys. I'll be starting a poll thread in the next day or so for tartan selection and then we can start playing with the details of the design.

At this point the tartans suggested are: (any others?)

    Caledonia

    Holyrood

    MacMillan

XMTS Tartan - (waiting on word from owner if this is an option.)

Niblox got like the last pair from a limited promotional run of bibs and jerseys which are pretty much all gone now.

One consideration for set up costs is that the more colors involved the more expensive the setup price for dye sublimation. Not only each color in the tartan threadcount, but also the "new" additional colors that come from crossing color bands in the tartan. E.g., if you had a simple white background with a simple blue and red tartan pattern you would need at least 3 colors in the dye sub process, not just the red and blue but also a purple where the red and blue cross in the tartan pattern. The more complex the pattern the more colors involved and the more complex/costly it becomes in setup charges.
this is not simple like thread counts where interwoven color threads combine to make a third color patch---each individual color needs to be placed in the graphics pattern individually. So although I like the Caledonia it would likely be prohibitively expensive to set up due to the many color lines involved in the threadcount, added to all the combination colors of where those color stripes cross.

In short, the simplest pattern with the least number of colors would be easiset and cheapest to do. Getting beyond 4-5 colors makes it tough and costly.

Yeah. niblox's discovery was what prompted this project.

Absolutely FM. That's one of the benefits of this company. They don't charge by the color. Now I don't know if that means their price is higher than some other company but their price looks good compared to others I've seen. From there inclusions:

    o
We do not charge by color. Five colors or 500 colors — it's the same price.
    o
We do not charge extra for full zippers. Most companies charge $4-5 extra per jersey. Watch those extra charges — they add up!
    o
We do not charge extra for a radio pocket on our bib short — it's a standard feature! Most companies charge $10 extra per bib short to add a radio pocket.
    o
We do not charge extra to add an internal pocket on our skinsuits — it's a standard feature! Most companies charge $10 extra per skinsuit to add a pocket.
    o
We do not charge extra for special color matching. We use the Pantone Color Matching System, which means we can print virtually any color. Some of our competitors charge $100 per color if you want a special color that they don't offer.
    o
We do not charge extra for colored lycra. Some of our competitors charge $10 extra per short, bib short and skinsuit if you want another color besides black. Now that can really add up!
    o
We do not charge extra for different short panel options. Our T-panel, wrap panel and U-panel options are all the same price. Would you believe some companies even charge extra for this!
    o
We do not charge extra for large sizes such as 3XL or 4XL. Most companies charge $10 more per jersey. The big guys have a tough enough time getting up the hills without having to pay $10 more to do it!
    o
We do not charge extra to upgrade to a better chamois. Why? Because we only offer one top-quality Italian chamois. It's the same chamois our sponsored pro teams race in. Think about it — if a company is asking you to pay extra for another chamois, what does that say about the chamois you are not paying extra for?

What the heck, if you need more orders, I'll go in for the Jersey for sure.
I'm pretty easy going on the tartan, although very fond of the Maple Leaf, as suggested earlier.
