    Kilt as cycling gear

I found this while looking at cycling kit and though it was an unusual place to find this product!

(I think this is media-related, but mods feel free to move).

Well it looks interesting but would be a bit short for me. I have seen an elderly gentleman wearing a traditional kilt riding a bike around the vicinity of Edinburgh University.

I'd never wear a kilt While Mtn. Biking, though I have worn my PK afterwards

I have however been looking for some tartan biking shorts. I saw a mountain climber several months bike with a pair of plaid lycra tights but have not found a supplier.

Not entirely unknown, as shown on this SportKilt page:

(BTW, that's me pumping up my tire on the touring bike.)

I always carry a kilt on my long rides and use wear it during "off-bike" time. My SportKilt was "passed along" years ago and I use kilts of my own make.

    Tartan cycling shorts

Well, I found a pair of cycling shorts with a tartan stripe - nearest thing I could find to a full tartan pair
