Sportkilt Sash
Let me beat JockScot to it !
Those sashes look silly. I firmly believe that anybody can wear whatever they like. However, as a full-time kilt-wearer in Edinburgh I must say I really do get p....d off when people try and copy Scottish national dress and make a complete mess of it, as Sportkilt have here. It ruins the sense of national pride in our national dress and makes the (sorry, but it usually is) Americans look silly.
By all means wear our national dress but give it some respect, please.
This is not aimed at all those who wear the kilt properly ( and I know there are lots of you).
