    Hello ans Welcome from Texas! The term "tank" was coined by Jimmy Carbomb and refers to an 8 yd knife pleat, handsewn 16oz or better kilt, and it refers to the fact that they are literally indestructable, and will last many lifetimes.

    Holy Moly, another Cleburne-ite! I graduated from CHS (Wilson House) in '73, my late wife (Willard House) in '72. Incidentally, my now wife is from Irving, but we met in Maryland.
