Welcome from the SF Bay Area! And nice handle--DADGAD! I'm a Drop-D player when I back the Irish stuff.

My main ax is an eight-string classical, so I can reach all those low notes, but I keep the Martin tuned DADGAD for fun.

One of my best friends is a musician in the Bay Area, guitar and vocal for Dud. He even came over and put on a kilt for my wedding.
