My favourite single will always be "Won't Get Fooled Again" by The Who, though I preferred their LP version to the single.
My favourite single malt is Springbank (just being loyal to my Dad)

What a question, one I can never give a simple answer to. I love the Islay malts in general and especially Ardbeg; though I'm sipping a beautiful Caol Ila at this very moment. Macallan is my favourite dram for a good "sesh", but if I could afford it I would drink Springbank every day of the year!

looks like there are a number of people I could hang out with here . . .
Laphroaig, Lagavulin for the peat . . .
Balvenie and Glenmorangie (madeira wood) for general sipping (or sharing with those who are not generally scotch drinkers).
right now, Lagavulin 16 is my fav.

What's the roughest Scotch whisky you've ever had ? It can either be malt, grain or blended (Must be made in Scotland)

Bruichladdich 'Second Edition' 12 year old.
Glenmorangie 12 year old.
Lots of great single malts out there -but these two are the best I've ever tried.
Honorable mention goes to Ardbeg, Talisker, and Oban.

1st- Lagavulin
2nd- Ardbeg
Non-peat tasting- Glen Livet 18 yr. old
I had some Glen Livet 25 yr. Old on New Years. It's way too expensive, but my friend works for the company that distributes it. He referred to it as the "Holy Grail" of scotch. I must say that it is a valid statement after drinking a dram.
