    Sorry Jim,
I kinna be t'ere as I will by that time be in western Kenya. Not even allowed to wear a kilt on station, more's the pity.
May you find joy in the wee, ken the universe in the peculiar and capture peace in the compass of drop of dew

I regret that your bride will be unable to attend.

Do we need to arrange a date for you? Maybe a 20-something cheerleader?

As tempting as that might be Jim I'm afraid all this planning for Saturday's merriment has been brought to a crashing halt at my end.

Please raise a single malt for me Saturday, I can't be there afterall as we've been mobilized at FEMA to support the Disaster Recovery and Relief mission in Haiti.

As the bard stated "The best laid plans o mice and men . . "

Hope you all have a grand evening in memory of Rabbie!

I am crestfallen, my friend. I regreat that you will not be with us this time. But, alas, there will be other times for us to gather, and I look forward to meeting you--and your birde--with relish. I went to the Tavern this evening to discuss the final arrangements with Greg, and I am certain that we will have a fine evening.

Holly is making her famous bread pudding with whiskey sauce! Hot dang!

I am planning to make some bannocks for the evening as well. So it's going to be a fine evening. I just regreat that you will not be able to attend. Especially since I have arranged for a Class I piper to do the honors for the evening.
