			Double-breasted jackets?

I had an odd thought while perusing a historical reenactor's website the other day. It was this: I don't recall ever seeing a photo of a double-breasted jacket worn with a kilt. This seems surprising to me given the historical popularity of double-breasted suits. I'm not referring to military uniforms, but to civilian attire.
So...a challenge to the cognoscenti! If you have a photo of a double-breated kilt jacket, let's see it!

Civilian History Ends in 1839 and Tradition Begins

I arbitrarily use the year 1839 as the line between historical and traditional civilian Highland attire. Why 1839? Well, that 's the year that the French perfected the photographic process, and from that time forward we have literal "snapshots" of the way all classes of people, everywhere, dressed. So, from my POV it seems that double breasted jackets have traditionally been an item of evening apparel, but rarely-- if ever-- worn as day wear.

The gentleman on the far right is my great grandfather, c. 1915.

While I doubt that his jacket was cut specifically for wear with a kilt, it is certainly double-breasted and being worn with a kilt.

I have a nice heavy blue wool pea-coat that with very minor alteration I think would make a smashing coat to wear with a kilt.
