I came into this really late, but Diane and I actually celebrated a week early by accident and then got to celebrate a second time!

Crepe thin pancakes rolled around bacon, broccoli, onions and a delicious cheese sauce followed by the same style pancakes with sugared strawberries and whipped cream.

    I love pancake day.

On the subject of pancakes, if anyone lives near an IHOP they are giving away a free short stack (3 pancakes) today, Feb 23. They only ask for a donation to support a charity (sorry, I don't remember which one).

Nooooooo, the closest one to me is a six hour drive away! IHOP is one US cultural item Canada has failed to import, or the US has failed to export, depending on how you look at it. Actually, I fear we have failed each other on this important issue .
