The wool is from Locharron, and I believe it is a 16 ounce fabric. The tag says "Wallace Collection", so i am unsure as to the actual kiltmaker. I bought this from John at ministryoftartan.com. Cost, w/ matching flashes and shipping from Scotland to the US was under 300 pounds, and it arrived in less than a week. John advertised it as gently used, but when it arrived it still had basting stitches in. I doubt that it had ever been tried on,let alone worn, as there were absolutley no marks on the straps. I know that at one time there was concern about John's website, but I can tell you that my dealings w/ Jhn were 100% aboveboard and John was a true gentleman to deal with. It is even more attractive in real life than the pictures show.

When they fight for freedom I will lead them. When they are unsteady on the battlefield I will motivate them. If they die on the battlefield I will bury them. So help me God."

    Looks great.

I have a Lamont modern I'm waiting on. Makes me more impatient.

How long will you be around on R&R? There is a Kilt Day at the ball park a bunch of us Dallas area folks are going to.

Don't recognize the name but you know about - http://www.lamontcentral.com/
