    Thanks in advance.
This photo appears in a series of photos taken at/during the Arnhem campaign and was featured in the Time-Life series WWII "Liberation" (pg 192). The source of the photo is listed as the Imperial War Museum, London.

    The caption reads:
Checking the supplies in its jeep, a patrol led by a glider pilot -- in the kilt he was wearing when he landed -- prepares to move toward Arnhem...

Though the photo caption only identifies one individual as a glider pilot, I assume because there are two present in similar kilts that the other is most likely his co-pilot.

I found the following links after doing a google search for 'Capt Ogilvie':

Gordon Highlanders in the Anglo Boer War 1899

    1st Battalion on parade

    2nd Battalion Serjeant Major

    NCO's

    caption:
When first viewed the first word that may come to mind is "piper" since this mas clearly wear the uniform of a musician and is a member of a Highland regiment but under close examination he clearly has a drum insignia on his right sleeve which reminds us that all Highland regiments hand bandsmen other that their famous pipers. This man wears a fine and somewhat understated uniform and displays a four clasped Queen's South Africa Medal and the double clasped Kings South Africa Medal for his service in the Boer War.

Black Watch - rifle grenade demonstration

Cameraman filming a wounded soldier, Somme campaign, France, World War I, 1916.

    --caption--
    Illegal Trench Photography:
George Ormsby of the 15th Battalion holds a Lee Enfield rifle and wears a kilt cover over his Highland uniform. This photograph was taken with Ormsby's own camera, sent to him by his wife. It was illegal for soldiers to have cameras because of the fear that photographs could fall into enemy hands. The lack of a helmet indicates it was probably taken before the spring of 1916.

I believe this photo shows HM Queen Victoria, not her son.

BTW, Monarchs are styled "Majesty", is in "Your Majesty", "Her Majesty", "His Majesty", "Their Majesties". Princes and Princesses of the Blood Royal are Highnesses.

You know I wondered about that too, as I thought it looked like Victoria in the carriage (I was going by the original caption w/ the photo(s) by the way).
