Something about Spring in Scotland

The wedding is booked for next year in a little place just North of the border, somewhere close to Gretna Green I have been told.

They stopped just to take a look at the venue and booked their day at the end of the tour.

That's excellent, you will enjoy your trip to Scotland.
My friend John who lives in Gretna (he of the black kilt and flat cap) does wedding photography.
I keep trying to persuade him to join xmarks, but he doesn't seem to feel the need to join a forum, kilts are already so commonplace in and around Gretna.

Plans are advancing slowly but surely for the nuptuals, and - just to put the cherry on the top - the bridegrooms mother has been reserching the family history and finds -

A Scottish connection!!


There is a possibility of a kilted wedding party.

So far, however the only information about the tartan is that 'it is one of the green ones' - but doubtless more will be forthcoming once it comes through the grapevine - groom's mother to daughter in law to be, to mother to sister - infallable system of communication.
