There is absolutely nothing wrong with using your clan badge as a kilt pin, or wearing it in the left lapel of your jacket it the mood so strikes you. The badge shows your allegiance to your chief and membership in the clan he leads. How you choose to display that allegiance is a matter of personal preference.
