That is a wonderfully designed tartan. Absolutely beautiful.
Anyone would be proud to have a kilt in that.
Rocky you and Hamish have impeccable taste. As if we all didn't know that already.

Rocky, great job. You and Barb make a championship team for this landmark project.
Hamish, I'm sure you are looking forward to strapping that one on for the first time. And may it be the first of many, many wearings!
I believe the original poster was talking about Hamish's garden.
Beautiful tartan and looking forward to seeing pictures or videos of Hamish in it. Rocky any idea on an estimated completion date?

Great looking tartan, I'm sure Hamish must be very pleased. I really like the muted greens and browns. And then to have the tartan sent to Mrs. Tewksbury to have a kilt built from it, Can't wait to see pictures of Hamish out in the garden, perhapse in a new signature pose wearing this new creation!

That is an exceptionally beautiful tartan. It honors a gracious gentleman whose contribution to the kilt wearing community is beyond reproach.
Rocky, if Hamish gives permission for this tartan to be worn by others, I'll immediately order an 8 yard, 16oz. handsewn from you. I wear a kilt as my daily attire, and would be most proud to wear this tartan for whom and what it represents.

It depends on MANY things... the speed with which Dalgliesh weaves the cloth and whether I can get said cloth to Barb before she leaves for Iceland. If yes, she can work on it during her stay there. If not, she won't be able to start until she returns home in late July.
We're doing what we can to speed the process up.

Beautiful work, Rocky.
Let me add my wishes to see Barb's finished work being worn in good health in the garden of Bicknell Grange.

And it has just come up on the Scottish Register of Tartans, so it's now "official".
