I asked for a tracking number 3 times & No response. On Friday 23rd of April i sent my last email & said that if i had no resonse or tracking number in the next 48hours ,that i would report them to IC3-the internet crime center, what do you guys think, should i give them any more chances or pull the trigger??? I would really like to hear from anyone who has had dealings with these guys.......Cheers.
Unfortunately that's the story when dealing with greathighlandwear.com

Report them to every agency you can find. They're liars, crooks and cheats (and that's being nice.) That phone number in Indiana has been disconnected (or at least it was the last time I called it.) Mr. Ahmed will promise you the moon, and then not deliver. I ordered a pair of buckle brogues in May of last year and finally received them late last fall. He promised a sporran strap and a Montrose doublet (free) to make up for all his deception, which will never materialize. He refuses to answer calls or emails, and his Paypal privileges were suspended for a couple of months. I think Paypal has a time window for refunds and complaints, so check it out and hurry and report GreatHighlandWear.com to them.

I can shed some light- There is an AMerican guy named....I think its Paul. He owns a Tat highland accessory place somewhere in the US. He is the American front guy for this company, or at least he was. I received an email from him pumping up his new relationship...I'll look for it. I think thats what that 812 # is. He is a fire fighter and his store is geared towards FD & PD pipe bands. I'll see what I can do

Hey Thanks Guys,I would really appreciate any info you can come up with,Thanks. Also, i found out that the pipeband on their home page is The Ontario Fire Service Pipes & Drums, I emailed them about their uniforms ,supposedly supplied by Greathighlandwear, the band manager replied & told me that they have never had dealings with this company (all their uniforms are made in Canada) & that they should not be using their Photo in the Ad,

The amount of questions people keep coming up with about validity and truth in
advertising should tell you something.
I was going to order some stuff from them several months ago but changed my mind after reading other people's experiences.

That, to me, speaks volumes!

Shun these scammers and let's try to close them down!
I first ordered a bunch of fairly small items from Great Highlandwear in mid 2009 (a belt, balmoral, and a sporran as well as some other small items). These actually arrived in about 6 weeks and were of reasonable quality, certainly for the price. I then made the great mistake of ordering and paying for a Sherrifmuir doublet. Frankly I wasn't expecting the world's best but my son was wanting one and the price was right.
Well, that was July 2009 and since then I have contacted the same Mr Ahmed literally dozens of times. I have a stream of email replies promising that the items will be posted "the next day" which never happens. I then chase him two or three times again and the same thing would happen. Repeat the above. Since December 2009 I have been demanding my money back and getting nothing but silence.
I absolutely do think you should report them to the internet crime centre. I am emailing my complaints to Paypal (too late to get my money back it seems - I expect that part of the reason for Ahmed's stalling tactics are to get outside the Paypal window for refunds) - but at least Paypal should cancel their account. I suggest that others do the same. Also, please send me the details of this Internet Crime Centre as I would also like to lodge a complaint.
I see now that there were warnings about this outfit on XMTS even before I placed my orders - I wish I had read them.
