The current MacDonell of the Glens (Count Randal MacDonnell of the Glens) resides in Tangier, in the Kingdom of Morocco. Born in Dublin, he succeeded his father in both the chiefship and comital title in (as I recall) 1975. He retired to Morocco about three years ago and divides his time between Dublin, Prague, and Tangier. The heir-presumptive to the title is the count's brother, Count Peter MacDonnell, who resides in Paris.
