My modern kilts. The brown plaid fabric (macfabricstore tartan?) is made into a 5 yard knife pleated kilt with deep under apron pleats and narrow rectangular aprons.

The red is box pleated with the same narrow apron. Both have interior "snap tape" for closure.

Both kilts are made with a wide waistband and sit at my "jeans waist"
