42nd Band Sett

I am somewhat confused. I was never aware of a special Sett for the Band of the 42nd . I always thought they wore either the Government Tartan or the Royal Stewart (for the Pipers).

Not before about 1840-50. Prior to that they, and the 93rd too, wore the Band setting of the Government.
