I agree with MOR. I have learned not to worry about matching items of Highland attire and heartily recommend it.
For what it's worth, it's probably more traditional to mismatch a brown leather sporran with black full brogues than to match shoes to belt to sporran strap to sporran.
Same goes for shirt, tie, and jacket choices.
