Just as an aside, when I am not wearing "Big Feathers" I tuck a sprig of holly behind my cap badge. That's because, at the end of the day, despite whatever other status I may have, I am first and foremost a clansman.

I have a heraldically ignorant, botanical question.
Does that include Yaupon Holly, and other Ilex plants, or does it have to be European Holly (Ilex aquifolium)?
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
