I don't believe this is correct. I am certain I saw this exact same sporran advertised for sale on Timothy Niall-Harris's website, House of Labhran. My understanding is that this was a modern reproduction of an 18th century-style sporran with the cantle made in brass, not silver. I inquired with Timothy about having one similar to this made up, but alas, the gentleman who was crafting the cantles had passed away unexpectedly. At least, that's the way I remember it, I think it was 3-4 years ago.
