A package today fro House of Edgar. No pics this time, but it means that all I am waiting on now is Lochcarron's plaids from B&S. By the end of next week I should think.

Mercy me, but I'm still waiting to see Lochcarron's cloth. I can't believe how long it's taking. It's almost like they don't want me to see what they have. Anyway, email sent to B&S to confirm that the samples are indeed on their way.

The jonesing is the hardest part.

Incredible....a couple months ago I received a swatch from them within 1 week of contacting them about it.

I ordered, and paid for, a swatch of Lochcarron from their U.S. site "Tartan and Clan" on 6/5 and am still waiting. In contrast to both House of Edgar and Strathmore who had swatches to me in under a week. Go figure!

Are you both getting these swatches through the U.S. site?

I've always gotten mine through the Scottish site, never paid a red cent, and received it within 2 weeks at the latest (usually less).

Actually the only time I've had an issue with Lochcarron is the one time I ordered a swatch sample thru another source. It took about a month for it arrive!

After some earlier dancing around and waiting for them to respond I took to contacting Lochcarron Scotland directly, but they forwarded me to Lochcarron Canada which is B&S as I understand so I'm not too worried at this point, but my patience has certainly been tested. It's still holding up.
