They have an altkilt classic, while definitely a modern kilt has some very traditional elements: http://www.altkilt.com/custom
Jeanie is also very good about listening to your ideas and customizations. The classic has box pleats and front aprons and a variety of options and materials. I don't currently have one but hope to soon. Nice option for activities that you would not necessarily want to wear a nice tartan tank for.
I'll not knock anyone for wearing this, or any other modern kilt, but I see nothing "very traditional" about it or its options other than the fact that the pleats are in the rear. Pockets? Buttons and studs all over the place? An apron so narrow it looks more like a woman's skirt to my eyes? Even the plainest seems to have nothing traditional about it and, while I'd never wear one myself, there's nothing wrong with that. From what I've seen, those that wear modern kilts wear them because they want the comfort of the kilt without looking in the least traditional. I noticed an option for tartan wool, but it think that a kilt in this style made in a tartan would look even less traditional than the plain fabric. Using a traditional material would merely highlight the differences from tradition.

Brian
