Scott,
I love your leather sporran with brass cantle featured in your photo. I assume you have owned the sporran for quite some time? I am very interested in that particular style (18th-century style?) and am in the market for a well made, heirloom quality version.

Hi Kyle,
I bought the sporran about 40 years ago at the Braemar Games. I recently arranged to have something a bit fancier made in silver, and will post photos when it's finished.
In the 1950s the MOD actually issued a similar sporran with a frog mouth brass cantle; I think it was called the "Culloden" cantle but I'm not sure. These turn up from time to time, and if you PM me I'll put you in touch with a friend who may have one for sale.
