    Barb,
    Thanks for posting these great photos. The landscape is beautiful and almost alien looking. I've never been to Iceland but it's shots like these that make me want to travel there. Please post more photos. Have you encountered many hikers there?

    ....I just found some of your other pictures that you put up on earlier posts! Fantastic scenery again.

    None in the actual area where we're working. It's an area that's not all that far from a 4WD road, where we see quite a few SUVs, but there are no hiking trails where we're working. We don't even see footprints! As you can see, you can go just about anywhere you want (although we were temporarily derailed yesterday by a set of 40' cliffs in the gully we were hiking down), and you don't really need trails to get around, but the place we're working isn't an obvious place for people to park and head off into the back country. So, no, we don't see anyone else all day.
