Yes, indeed we will Todd! Doesn't the Lovat Blue dicing sound lovely with a Fawn coloured Balmoral?! Ugh, I need an expense account for Highland attire alone!

I have posted a photo that I think you will recognize. I am curious where you purchased the extremely smart hose you are wearing? I am well aware that Chris at Dunadd, and Matt at the Scottish Tartans Museum carry countless styles of kilt hose in the similar dicing, or "checkerboard" style (as well as many other styles and options), yet I love how yours appear to be not as thick as some variants available on the market. I also love the colours! Is that Fawn and Lovat Green, or perhaps a Bottle/Tartan Green? Simply wonderful my friend. I also love the livery colours of your Chief as a cockade in your bonnet.

    Thanks mate,

    Thanks mate,
The hose in question Kyle are from Victoria at The Almost Unwearoutable Sock Company in Northumberland. They really do live up to their name!

The colours are oatmeal with "Holly" Green checks. The pattern is the "coquet" pattern.

That is my old Mackie bonnet, by the way.

    Todd,

One more thing mate: Which ply of wool did you order for your hose? They offer 4, 8, plain ply 4, and plain ply 8.

    Thanks,

    Thanks,
You would ask that, Kyle. If I remember correctly, I ordered the 8 ply.
