Is this Irish Gaelic or Scottish?

It's published by the Bible Society of Scotland, so I assume it's of the Scottish variety. I Googled "Gaelic New Testament" once upon a time and found it for sale. It has the Gaelic on one page and the English on the facing page, and the English is the King James version.

I wonder if one version is more poetic than the other. If it were me getting the ink, I'd opt for the shorter translation.
