I Know It Doesn't Exist ....
until I post pictures, but I got home after a very long day and will have to post pics over the next couple days.
Jeanie just got me my Alt.Kilt Classic in wine color. I opened the box in strange light as the sun was setting and I was sitting in my car at the mailbox and initially almost had a heart attack because the color looked different. But once fully out of the box, let me tell you it is awesome. The wine looks very sharp and the kilt looks great. I know someone knocked the buttons in one of the threads, and this is where the customizations with altkilt are huge. I selected Celtic style buttons and they look great. I am sure a purist will gasp, but I think they look very sharp, particularly as I picked buttons to go well with the material. As to the narrowness of the front apron, I would disagree. While not as wide as a traditional kilt, it is wider than a Utilikilt and I like the comfort and appearance.
If you are looking for a modern kilt with some traditional touches you can't go wrong here. I told Jeanie I needed a good knock around kilt I can wear while traveling on vacation and I will use it for chores, Saturday errands and playing with my dogs. This is not when I would want to be wearing my beautiful Isle of Skye kilt but want to be kilted.

At Long Last.... Here Are The Pics
I expected them to be up much sooner than this, but I had a lot going on family wise. For any one worried about how the pleats hold up this is after 2 days of very hectic activity including running around a park and wrestling with my dogs. This is the wine colored heavy weight twill. The kilt is box pleated and the buttons are ones I selected from what Alt.Kilt offered. It is a great kilt for whenever you are in need of a good durable kilt for activities less suited to a good tartan kilt. It is great for travel, Saturday chores, washing the dogs etc.

I like it! The buttons are very cool too.
Use it for what you wanted it. and if you need to touch the pleats up with the iron do so but remember to go EASY....from the right side if you steam press the heck out of it you might see where the box pleat meets together under the outside pleat.
My boyfriend has two kilts he calls his "Stunt kilts" for knocking around doing stuff, camping etc, when wearing a wool tank doesn't make sense.
Congratulatons, I do like the color!
