Thanks all, for the encouraging words!
I do plan to have this woven and made into an 8-yd knife pleat kilt. It's meant to be for my family and the colors are inspired by things associated with our home city of Savannah. The live oaks, the squares, the City Hall's gold dome, the "haint" blue and the Savannah "grey" bricks that can be found on many of the historic homes are all represented.
Now all I need is to fund the project. Minor detail.....

Well done -- it would go well with seersucker!

I love it! Just add a broad-brimmed straw hat, walking stick, a lightweight, canvas sporran and a pair of woven oxfords... and that's me strolling down Bull Street in twenty years or so!
