There is only one possible solution for this. Send it to the Scottish Tartan Museum.

"Before two notes of the theme were played, Colin knew it was Patrick Mor MacCrimmon's 'Lament for the Children'...Sad seven times--ah, Patrick MacCrimmon of the seven dead sons....'It's a hard tune, that', said old Angus. Hard on the piper; hard on them all; hard on the world." Butcher's Broom, by Neil Gunn, 1994 Walker & Co, NY, p. 397-8.

Derek,
I loved your 'old' kitchen (c/w muckle clock) - such a warm, friendly and cosy room - but the 'new' one looks very nice indeed, although I was a little puzzled by the vending machine ........... then I realised that it is your fridge/freezer adorned by magnets and a year planner!
After several visits I can, alas, find no photos to contribute which include both the clock and me!
Take care,
Ham.

If it's still up for grabs my friend, I can give it a good home. I can pop down to Cardiff 1st w/e in September and collect if you can hold onto it for that long. I'm not able to collect it sooner unfortunately but I promise it will be cared for in a manner you would expect.

This strikes me somehow as an ingenious solution for the single guy who doesn't like to cook for one...
But anyway, awesome new kitchen you've got there.
