Methinks you "a lucky guy."
I'm thin-skinned and ordinarily easy to upset in some manners.
In the matter of kilt wearing I've seemingly been thick-skinned and appreciative of any attention cast my way.
I've been gently schooled by a stranger in the proper way to walk, put-on and sit while wearing the kilt.
To those, I've said "Thank you."
I have said, "But I notice you are not wearing your kilt."
"Don't own one," was a reply.
"Really?" says I.
Conversations trail off into nowhere after that!
Go, have fun, don't work at, make it fun! Kilt them, for they know not, what they wear. Where am I now?
