Sorry to hear about your hammy, Pete.

Seems like a lot of that is going around right about now...

My geezer buddy Frank Lux broke his hand and competed a month ago with a cast on his right hand forcing him to throw left handed. He still went 18' in the sheaf. He got the cast off about two weeks ago and is trying to regain grip strength.

My other training buddy, in the Women geezer class, sprained her thumb last weekend at the Police Athletics up in Reno. Throwing hand, of course. That'll teach her to do the high jump.

And I was tossing the sheaf over the street light in front of my house this past Tuesday and strained a bicep. No tear, no swelling, no bruising, no ache, just feels like I did a killer set of bicep curls.

And yet, we're all going to Denver next Friday.

I'll be the one in the 60's class with the pony tail, the Indiana Jones hat, and the belt that says "o1d_dude".
