    Welcome

    Welcome Old Salt!

I wish there was a RCN Tartan for us Canucks to wear.

Post a photo of your USN Tartan if you could?

Maybe Rocky should look into that possible tartan? I do not even think the RN have a tartan do they? I know the RCAF and the RAF have one.

Anyways, welcome aboard, consider my Bosn's call has piped you over the brow.

    Robert

I am not sure that the Royal Navy have an "official" tartan, but MacMurdo has, I am fairly certain, a RN tartan kilt. If he does not chip in, why not PM him and get the details if you are interested.

Hi, TBruce, and welcome to XMTS from the bottom end of Africa.

Vicar, there is an unofficial Royal Navy tartan, as well as one for the Royal Naval Association (which apparently is official for [ex-navy] civilian wear).
Scotweb illustrates the Navy tartan, but has in capital letters alongside its name DISPUTED.
Perhaps you should try your hand at designing an RCN tartan. The military tartans of the US forces are all unofficial, for all that they are worn with pride by those associated with the different service arms.
    Regards,
    Mike
