I to bot into the deal Daran offered last November. My kilt is tan and the material is heavy and looks good. It does tend to wrinkle easy. Mine fits just fine and I like wearing it. The apron doesn't hang just right but not to many people would be aware of that fact. My biggest peeve with the kilt is all that material in and under the aprons (pleats in both aprons). It works out to about 9 layers of material and is very warm when sitting in it. It will probably be a good winter kilt. I to tried to contact Daran and got no response. I was thinking about buying an Aberdeen but not now.

Well...
I have three Alphas here, an Edinbourough (olive drab), a custom made Aberdeen (a special for use as a Roller derby referee; black with a white pleat up each leg), and one of the prototypes (black).
I have absolutely NO complaints about any of them; they're first rate quality and workmanship all the way.
I think that what's happening here is a problem that's common to many small businesses.
They're successful, they try to expand, and it goes bad. Sort of a growing pains thing.
I wish Daron well, and I hope he can recover before all of the good will he's already generated turns sour.
