I do remember.
The Turks seem pretty cool about kilts (on the whole). Mainly puzzled I think when confronted with one up close. I would think the majority have never seen one before other than pictures but the snippets of overheard conversations when out and about indicated an awareness of it's Scottish connection so it seems they know what it is. And although all the Blokes in the family were very polite about it, there were no takers when I offered to let them try it on. Although to be honest, I had figured there probably wouldn't be.
