White sporran spotted

I am quite partial to white sporrans and am seriously considering a white fur dress sporran. I get serious military vibes from white leather, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

I think pulling off a white sporran depends quite a lot on the tartan it is being worn with - especially dark tartan (or dark tweed/plain-coloured) kilts, in my opinion, provide a great contrast to a white sporran.

I have a white fur dress sporran myself. I rarely wear it because I rarely have reason to dress that well, but it looks pretty sharp with the black tassels and a PC or doublet. Here's an old photo of me in the PC with white fur sporran. It's not a great picture; it was an on-the-fly shot at a Burns Supper.
