As a retired Scottish lawyer I can confirm that The Right Honourable David Sellar, The Lord Lyon, King of Arms, is a friendly and approachable fellow who would be happy to chat informally with you during the evening. If you are in the Washington area I would highly recommend that you take this opportunity to attend this prestigious event.
Regional Director for Scotland for Clan Cunningham International, and a Scottish Armiger.

I may have to investigate airfare to Washington DC! I'm not so sure I'd want to miss this rare opportunity!

I can attest to that, too. Lyon is a personable and unpretentious man.
