    Well black morning suits are being worn so the kilt equivalent is the black barathea silver buttoned argyll, with a 5 button waist coat as an added option if so wished.A white shirt, with a silver hued four in hand tie is the thing really, although as you are not the main player in the event a lower key four in hand tie might be worth considering. Hose colour, well the "anything other than white" holds true and I think in this case black does too. Bottle green, lovat green might be an option. A dress sporran ought really to be worn, but again as you are not a main player in the event, I personally think a plain black sporran reduces the bling a tad and does look fine. There is no need for ghillie brogues, black brogues(wingtips) or plain black shoes will do nicely-----well polished of course.
