Well, I'll help as best I can with single and vatted malts, anyway.
Got home from work last night and could almost see the chill San Francisco mist inside my apartment. Dealt with it by having a bowl of microwaved haggis for dinner followed by a dram of good Islay malt (Lagavulin), then wrapped up in a plaidie with a good book.
(EDIT: I seem to have "seasonal" preferences in whisky, though I'll drink any good one anytime. Basically, in summer/warm weather I tend to prefer Highland & Speyside malts, while in winter or cold/stormy weather it's Islay or other island malts.)
