Save the cola for a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
How about a Rusty Nail? Scotch (whisky) mixed with Scotch (Drambuie)

That looks like the shelf at a Class VI store...and from the "Military Special" brand, I'm assuming it is!!

I'll say. Just got back from the liquor store, and found a bottle of MaCallan 30, behind a locked glass door, at $754USD.

Scotch Whiskies to avoid? Anything blended or less than 10 years old single malt.

Other than that, open the bar because they all can taste good to just about anybody on any given day. My tastes can change over an evening.

For everyone else, whiskies to avoid? All those in my personal liquor cabinet, unless you are specifically invited, that is.

Like welsh Penderyn, Clontarf and Michael Collins and Knappogue irish, and Yamazaki japanese single malts. Have not turned up my nose at anything Scots single malt so far.

For me it has to be Glenfiddich. It got really drunk on it in Edinbugh when I was young, was violently sick, and have never liked it since.

We really need an emoticon for "I bow down before your awesomeness", because, you sir, just pushed the needle through the roof.

I have tried and tried to find a Scotch Whisky that I do not enjoy. I have not found one yet, but I am still searching. You gentlemen have certainly added to my list of possible candidates to sample.
    Thank you.
