I watched the entire opening ceremony of the 2010 Commonwealth Games from Delhi at the weekend - and what a show it was!
The Scottish team emerged into the arena to a deafening roar from the 60,000 capacity crowd (as did all four of the United Kingdom teams). The men looked great in their traditional kilts and blue shirts with, what looked like navy blue hose. They wore simple sporrans - on chains (grrrr!), but not belts as far as I could tell, whilst the ladies wore shorter kilted skirts and paler blue shirts (or blouses).
