CBC Radio in Canada, which can also be heard on Sirius, used to be chockablock full of good comedy shows, both Canadian and British. But I can't recommend them now- they've become a sort of Canuck Radio Moscow with about the same sense of humour.

Your agenda is showing dearie.
I can recommend The Debaters. I'm so old fashioned that I actually listen live on the real radio and am often laughing heartily. Very funny stuff.

OK so the CBC dimwits are AS humourous as Radio Moscow was. But, regarding The Debators, are you really sure you want to recommend that show to an American audience? It hasn't been so blatant since W left office, but cheapshotting Americans is always a big laugh-getter with their audience. I know I'm not an American and I dislike that sort of racism (which is what it is).
There is a new, and quite good, CBC comedy show on at 11:30 (am) on Saturdays but I'm too much of a CBC hater to mention it. And by the way, don't call me Shirley.

Americans cheap shot Canadians all the time, why not a little retaliation?

South Park aside, I am not aware of that. There's a difference between making a joke and what I'm referring to.

Not all of us do; I frequently speak very highly of our neighbours to the north. Generalization disproven.

Frankly, and again with the exception of the South Park lads who live in a unique universe, so few Americans even think of Canada over a period of, say, a decade that it could hardly amount to much anyway. Whereas the folks I'm talking about seem to be totally obsessed with the USA. Jilted lovers? Who knows?

Well, I'm gonna disagree with that. It's a fine line though. We used to tell Newfie jokes and Newfs would tell mainlander jokes. It gets racists if we're spouting P@k! jokes or P0ll@k jokes but surely there's room for some good natured ribbing. I sure don't mind a good joke at my expense, if it's a good joke and well told with a respectful eye. Besides, I think USAnians should all be used to the world taking pot shots at their nation with a target that big.
