radio shows?
Anyone listen to any good radio shows online? Particularly any sports-related or humor-filled ones?

Car Talk rules. I used to pay $180/mo (Sirius) mainly to hear the lads.
CBC Radio in Canada, which can also be heard on Sirius, used to be chockablock full of good comedy shows, both Canadian and British. But I can't recommend them now- they've become a sort of Canuck Radio Moscow with about the same sense of humour.

Also check out "Wait, Wait Don't Tell Me" also NPR (NPR News quiz, funny stuff). Also "Only A Game" (sports) from WBUR, (Boston, MA).

Your agenda is showing dearie.
I can recommend The Debaters. I'm so old fashioned that I actually listen live on the real radio and am often laughing heartily. Very funny stuff.

Car talk is really great and stands as my favorite. Prairie Home Companion is really good also on NPR. Only a Game is on WBUR - one of the NPR affiliates in Boston and is broad in its expanse of content and I like it pretty much. I used to listen to BBC - My Word was one I liked. I have not tried to find it on line.

I'm a big fan of podcasts. You might want to check out The Bugle which is a satirical news program featuring both American and British news. I also listen to the BBC Radio 4 Friday Night Comedy podcast.

OK so the CBC dimwits are AS humourous as Radio Moscow was. But, regarding The Debators, are you really sure you want to recommend that show to an American audience? It hasn't been so blatant since W left office, but cheapshotting Americans is always a big laugh-getter with their audience. I know I'm not an American and I dislike that sort of racism (which is what it is).
There is a new, and quite good, CBC comedy show on at 11:30 (am) on Saturdays but I'm too much of a CBC hater to mention it. And by the way, don't call me Shirley.

Americans cheap shot Canadians all the time, why not a little retaliation?

South Park aside, I am not aware of that. There's a difference between making a joke and what I'm referring to.
