    Nice job, Nighthawk!

    Did you tool the designs on the flap or are they stamps from a manufacturer?

    What kind of leather? It looks very soft, like deerskin.

    Stamped- I got lazy... I will be making many more flaps for this one, though! And yes, it's deer skin and deer sinew to sew it all together.

    The ties for the flap are deer skin, as well. The ties for the bag, I'm not sure on- I had a good friend who died recently. The threads are from a pair of moccasins he was making. A lot of my leather goods incorporate a little of his work- it's my way of keeping his memory.
