Unfortunately, most makers of kilt jackets don't take the pear or barrel shape into account, even in the larger sizes. Which isn't to say you are that shape, but I am the latter, and I had a terrible time finding an argyle that fit.
I have a Higgins kilt from the mid-90s, so my information isn't very timely, but I've been very happy with it. It was my band kilt, and until I save the pennies for a new clan kilt, is the one I wear.
