Ouch, my brain! my poor, delicate brain!
Stuff like this should come with a big red warning label, even if that label reads "Auchtung!"

To play it safe I would go with Vas ist das? in hte neutral format. Eitehr way, it is a german guy with a weird thing over his groin region, which goes hand in hand with their infamous "fetish" films.

If we are going to play it safe, then it should be correctly:
Was ist das?
Ws are pronounced as Vs and Vs are pronounced as Fs.
All that apart, I think that it is a fun piece and quite typical of the "Sprudel-Music" of southern Germany. These groups often change clothes for each performance. I am surprized that no one has mentioned the 'priest' with the trumpet on the right.
Regards
Chas

I was trying to keep it simple, as you can tell by my explanation of the gender structure of the language, I did not want to over complicate it (insert sarcasm here). I also thought it would be humorous to leave it as vas instead of was, since I obviously do get german vocabulary/spelling/grammar. I guess some people might have missed the humor in me correcting his gender usage, and not the easiest to spot error, using the V instead of the W.
Oh well, I hope someone got a laugh.

I have to admit that I am a little frightened by nearly every frame of this video. Yikes.

Priest?!? I'll take your word that one was there.
I've found that most relationships work best when no one wears pants.

I think that sporran would be more useful as a piece of armor or padding that an actual sporran, but it was for show; they had fun, I won't complain.
I nonetheless vote road-kill...scraped straight of the road, cleaned of blood, and glued to a thin piece of wood.

I would not mind churning butter with the frauline, but if I had to wear that sporran I would have to think hard......ly.

I am by no means a scholar of the German language. I promise not to do it again.
But I did think the video was funny. That was my point.

A good use for a roadkill-sporran like that
I'd consider wearing it to those boring family reunions. It would certainly liven things up a bit. I mean, think of the many ways people would have to dance around their phrasing in talking about an ugly "piece of roadkill" positioned in the front of your crotch.
